Atlanta Generals starter George Palmer was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Montreal Habitants, 2-0. The losing streak for Montreal has now reached 5 games.
Palmer dominated for Atlanta, raising his record to 8-8. Montreal hitters had few good at-bats against the left-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8.1 innings while striking out 11.
"We didn't get too many good swings against George," said Montreal manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon.
