The winning streak continued for Dallas.

The Dallas Wranglers converted a terrific effort from starter Steve Coomes into a win over the Houston Drillers at Bluff Park. The Wranglers won the game by a final score of 6-1. With their winning streak at 8, the Wranglers have raced to a strong start this season.

The Wranglers got a big at-bat from left fielder Pat Simmons. For the game, Simmons went 2-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Dallas a 3-1 lead.

"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager William Albrecht.
