The Milwaukee Dairymen and Denver Burros put on quite a show.

The Milwaukee Dairymen spoiled a good performance by Denver right fielder Guillaume Moret, bumping off Denver, 6-5, at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium. Moret was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Milwaukee reliever Archie Sereni got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Pete Stack was tagged with the loss.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when left fielder Larry Morford hit a 2-run home run. The Dairymen went on to win.

"Big win," said Morford.

Milwaukee is now 41-87, Denver 55-73.
