Packers Dealt 3-2 Loss by Denver
|
Denver left-hander Bart Dunsley helped his team edge Cincinnati by the score of 3-2. Dunsley kept the opposing lineup in check. The Packers, at 59-69, have lost 4 straight games.
In the bottom of the sixth, Denver left fielder Tony Galaz put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 17th home run of the year. Cincinnati pitcher Joe Clabaugh served it up. Just like that, the Burros were ahead, 3-1.
"I felt good even in the late innings," said Dunsley after the game.
