Wranglers Suffer 14-0 Drubbing
The exploits of right fielder Paul Brower, who is tied for 3rd in the ABL with a .309 batting average, helped the New York Empires defeat the Dallas Wranglers, 14-0. Brower went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 4 times and drove in 2. The third-place Wranglers dropped to 71-58.

The fans who came to support the Empires were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Queens Field.

Dallas manager William Albrecht summed up his team's performance in one word: "Putrid."
