Diego Throws 4-Hitter En Route to 4-1 Lords Win
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Baltimore Lords take on the Los Angeles Pobladores.

The Baltimore Lords beat the Los Angeles Pobladores, 4-1, at Seton Hill Stadium. Starting pitcher Larry Diego was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. With the win, the Lords hiked their record to 74-58.

Diego, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 6 in 9 innings and gave up 1 run.

Diego, who is tied for 6th in the ABL with a 2.19 ERA, moves to 14-6 on the year with 112 strikeouts.

"I liked his command," said Baltimore manager Jordan Wells. "Larry was throwing strikes."
