The Seattle Emeralds beat the Los Angeles Pobladores, 5-1. Seattle pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native Mike Harris led the way. The winning pitcher was Harris, now 12-8. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 3. The loss makes Los Angeles 69-64.

Seattle used the timely hitting of Freddie Boone to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Emeralds on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Harris attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
