Lords Take Tight Tilt, 3-2
|
Seton Hill Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Baltimore Lords and Los Angeles Pobladores.
The Baltimore Lords racked up a win at Seton Hill Stadium, bumping off the Los Angeles Pobladores, 3-2. Denny Boyd, who started for Baltimore, pitched effectively for his team. The last-place Lords have won 4 straight.
Bobby Capps drove in one run for Baltimore. The 26-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jim Arndt. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Capps told the Baltimore Times.
