Wranglers Rack Up 7-1 Win Versus New York
|
Dallas took on New York in front of a lively crowd.
Dallas Wranglers starter Barry Gilmore worked his magic, to help his team defeat the New York Empires, 7-1. The win puts the Wranglers at 68-66, while the Empires drop to 72-63.
The Wranglers got a big at-bat from third baseman John Hammit. For the game, Hammit was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 30th double of the season gave Dallas a 2-0 lead.
Gilmore called the win "a collective effort."
