Starting pitcher Kevin Edwards gave the Chicago Hawks a rock-solid effort. The Southampton, Pennsylvania native helped his team defeat the Seattle Emeralds, 3-2, at Puget Field. Edwards got the win, improving to 9-10. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Picking up the save was Ron Woods. He's now 14 for 20 in save chances.
