The Boston Terriers turned back the Dallas Wranglers, 4-3, at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Charlie Zacharias, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2-2 with a double and 3 walks, while scoring 2. Boston reliever Bill Falcon was the winner. His record is now 4-2. Albert Green took the loss. The Terriers, at 67-68, inhabit 4th place in the American Baseball League Eastern Division.

The Terriers got a clutch hit from shortstop Phil Soroka. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Terriers.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Zacharias.
