Bluebirds Mow Down Knickerbockers, 9-3
|
The Brooklyn Bluebirds picked up a win at Knickerbocker Stadium, knocking off the New York Knickerbockers, 9-3. On the mound for Brooklyn was right-hander Dick Conway, who played a pivotal role in the win. In 8 innings, Conway surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs. At 2-0, the Bluebirds have played well so far.
