Bobcats Rally to Nose Past Milwaukee
The Cleveland Bobcats picked up a win at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium, taking down the Milwaukee Dairymen, 4-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Cleveland was right-hander Rick Tomlinson. He played a central role in the triumph. Cleveland reliever Joe Clabaugh picked up the win, raising his record to 12-3. Guillermo Ortega was tagged with the loss. Bill Smith, credited with the save, is now 12 for 13 in save opportunities.

Cleveland took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Benito Olivas hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Bobcats in front, 4-2.

"I like our moxie," said Bobcats manager Daniel Mays.

The victory gives Cleveland a record of 92-47.
