Traders Walk It Off for 77th Win of Season
|
Chicago Traders starter Bobby Peters pitched his team past the St. Louis Explorers in 11 innings, 2-1. The win makes Chicago 77-66.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 11th, an error by the Explorers allowed the Traders to score the winning run.
"This game was intense," Fuentes said, postgame.
