Dallas starter Dave Young pitched well against the Twin Cities Northmen at Twin Cities Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 8-3. Young, who is tied for 9th in the ABL in quality starts with 22, went the distance for Dallas. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. The Wranglers bumped their record to 77-64 with this win.

A key moment came with two out in the top of the fourth. That's when Young hit a fastball from Bob Freeland for a 2-run single, putting Dallas up, 2-0.
