Buddy Shingleton was a major factor in the 6-4 Twin Cities win over Baltimore. The Northmen shortstop hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Rick Lindstrom picked up his 20th save of the season. The 4th-place Lords now sit at 74-68.

With a runner on 2nd and no one out in the top of the seventh inning, center fielder Melvin Perez delivered big for the Northmen. Twin Cities was trailing 4-2 when he belted a 2-run home run.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Perez, "and then get after it again."
