Wranglers Rally Late to Clip Los Angeles

Dallas Wranglers starter Steve Coomes found his groove in his team's 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Pobladores. The win lifted the Dallas record to 78-64.
Had Pat Simmons not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Simmons hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Wranglers.
"I like what I saw today," said Dallas manager William Albrecht, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
