New York pinch hitter Miguel Preciado helped his team beat the Detroit Wolverines, 8-4. Preciado went 1 for 1 for the Empires. Larry Stanford picked up the win with 6 innings of work. "Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Preciado told the New York Bulletin.
