Generals Send Montreal Home with 5-4 Loss
In a tight contest at Atlantic Station Field, the Atlanta Generals edged the Montreal Habitants by the score of 5-4. Atlanta center fielder Matt Legrow, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. Ron Winder was credited with the save for Atlanta, his 4th of the season. Montreal drops to 9-6.

Legrow had a timely hit for Atlanta in the bottom of the seventh. With Atlanta trailing 4-3, he turned a 0-1 sinker into a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season, making it 5-4, Atlanta.

"This was a total team effort," said Legrow.
