Wranglers Get Hard-Earned Win, Stop Northmen, 2-1
Dallas Wranglers starter Steve Coomes pitched a strong game against the Twin Cities Northmen at Bluff Park, leading the Wranglers to victory, 2-1. The Wranglers have an impressive 97-51 record.

The Wranglers relied on catcher Terry McClellan for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager G Maloney.
