Bobcats Get 7-2 Win Versus Pittsburgh
Cleveland pitcher Myron Baird had a large part in his team subduing the Pittsburgh Industrials, 7-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Pittsburgh has now lost 5 straight.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jim Baumann? The Cleveland first baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bobcats on top, 3-0. For the game, Baumann had 2 doubles and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Myron made some big pitches when he needed to," said Bobcats manager Daniel Mays.
