Pete Morrison powered the Cleveland Bobcats to a win over the Pittsburgh Industrials. The final score was 6-3. The Cleveland left fielder, who finished 2nd in the ABL in OPS with .875 in 1967, was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Paul Darch closed the door for Cleveland, picking up his 3rd save of the year. The losses continue to mount for Pittsburgh, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

Mark Bassett helped out the Cleveland cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4 with a walk.

"We just can't get over the hump," said losing manager Vincent Wicker.
