Quakers Send Pittsburgh Home with 10-5 Loss
Quakers second baseman Ron Paige left his imprint on his team's 10-5 win over the Pittsburgh Industrials. Paige went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Philadelphia in the contest. The loss makes Pittsburgh 92-60.

With Philadelphia leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Paige hit a fastball from Dennis Visco for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Quakers ahead, 4-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Paige told the Philadelphia Chronicle.
