Dallas Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Dallas Wranglers took Seattle pitcher Nate Summers's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Bluff Park. The final score had Dallas getting past the Emeralds, 5-3. Summers went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 4. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Seattle.
Frank Price was the walk-off hero for Dallas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wranglers pinch hitter hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
