Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Atlanta Generals and Toronto Hurons.
Atlanta rode a fine outing from starter Dave Allen to victory over the Toronto Hurons at Atlantic Station Field. The final score was 4-2. Allen got the win, improving to 10-13. He allowed 4 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. Allen allowed no runs.
The Generals got a big hit from left fielder Max Kesic. In the bottom of the fifth, Kesic pounded a run-scoring double to right-center. His 18th double of the season put the Generals ahead, 2-0.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Atlanta skipper Philipe Yazzie. "I can't complain."
Atlanta now has a 3-game win streak.
