Generals Dump Toronto, 2-1, to Win 4th in a Row
The Atlanta Generals eked out a 2-1 win versus the Toronto Hurons at Atlantic Station Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Roger Pochatko. He was terrific. In 7 innings, Pochatko surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. He allowed 1 run. The 6th-place Generals have won 4 in a row.

The Generals got an important contribution from left fielder Max Kesic, who in the bottom of the first punched a 2-2 knuckle curve into center for a run-scoring double. It was his 19th double of the season and put the Generals ahead, 2-0.

"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Pochatko.
