The Los Angeles Pobladores faced a tough opponent in San Francisco pitcher Randy Medved, but did just enough to pull out the victory at San Vicente Park by a final score of 4-3 in 10 innings. Medved went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. The second-place Pobladores have won 5 in a row.

The Pobladores got a clutch hit from third baseman Costen Judy. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Pobladores.
