Big Day for Sisson in 12-5 Drillers Win
The Houston Drillers extended their winning streak.

The 12-5 Houston win over Dallas was due in large part to Mark Sisson. The Drillers center fielder went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Bill Switzer picked up the win, lifting his record to 8-8 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 2 in 7 innings, while yielding 3 runs.

Jackie Frost hit a 2-run triple off Charlie Sokol in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Drillers in front, 5-3. Frost had 3 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 4 for 6.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Frost said. "We did a good job of that today."

The win gives Houston a season record of 88-71.
