Milwaukee and Kansas City duked it out and the Dairymen came out victorious.

The Milwaukee Dairymen dealt the Kansas City Bulls a 5-2 loss at Independence Field. Larry Morford, who is tied for 7th in the NBL in doubles with 34, was the star on offense. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win, the Dairymen improved to 74-84.

Milwaukee used a timely hit from Ray DeCou to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dairymen ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley called it "a good, solid win."
