Burros 3-2 Winners Versus San Diego
Denver Burros starter Keith Williams turned in a sterling performance against the San Diego Captains, leading his team to a slim, 3-2 win. The 4th-place Burros have won 7 consecutive games.

Had Alejandro Rebolledo not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Rebolledo hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Burros.

"I liked his command," said Denver manager Clark Anderson. "Keith was throwing strikes."
