Dominant Performance by Gross in Twin Cities Win
|
Twin Cities and Los Angeles duked it out and the Northmen came out victorious.
Pitcher Gerald Gross was rock solid in helping the Twin Cities Northmen beat the Los Angeles Pobladores, 3-0. With the victory, the Northmen record stands at 71-88.
It was a masterful performance from the popular Gross, who notched 8 strikeouts in 8.1 innings while allowing 2 hits. Gross, who finished 3rd in the ABL in ERA with 2.45 in 1973, goes to 8-14 on the year with 109 strikeouts.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Gross. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
