Eagles Earn 3-2 Win Versus Packers
The Washington Eagles earned a close win over the Cincinnati Packers, thanks in part to Ramon Juarez. The Washington right-hander, who is tied for 9th in the NBL with a 1.85 ERA, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Washington, now 12-6, has played well in the early going.

Washington took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Larry Wools hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Eagles in front, 3-2.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Wools.
