The Chicago Hawks downed the Los Angeles Pobladores, 2-0, at Hyde Park Stadium. Starring for Chicago was pitcher Mike Haskett. Haskett yielded no runs over 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-2. The Pobladores fall to 8-10 and continue their lackluster start to the 1976 season.
