Emeralds Take Down Hawks, 4-3
|
The Seattle Emeralds scored a tight 4-3 win versus the Chicago Hawks at Puget Field. Seattle pitcher Jose Mojica held his own in the contest. Seattle goes to 12-7.
The Emeralds were down to their final out when third baseman Charlie Hall turned a first pitch fastball from Paul Geary into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the Puget Field crowd go wild.
Hall described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
