Raucous Sam Houston Field Crowd Propels Drillers to 3-0 Victory; Series Tied at 3
Houston starter Jerry Zaruba turned in an exceptional performance at Sam Houston Field to force the Drillers and the Atlanta Generals into a decisive Game 7. The right-handed Zaruba threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball in a must-win situation against Atlanta, leading the way for the 3-0 Houston win. The winner of the series will advance to the League Championship Series.

Zaruba went the distance for Houston. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1.

Generals manager Philipe Yazzie did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the World Series."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Sam Houston Field in Houston.
