The Pittsburgh Industrials beat the Washington Eagles, 10-5, at Allegheny Field. Hillyer Bryan, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 5. Pittsburgh, now 17-2, is setting the league on fire so far.
Don Keough, who leads the NBL in extra base hits with 11, aided the Pittsburgh cause with a 2-run triple in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 4 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
