The Terriers grabbed a win, 4-3, at Atlantic Avenue Grounds, overcoming a fine effort from Baltimore pitcher Nate Summers. Summers went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Red Topic wrapped it up, recording his 1st save. Baltimore now is 14-7.

Jeff Milton drove in one run for Boston. The 23-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Denny Boyd. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Milton, "one at-bat at a time."
