Industrials Reel Off Another Win
|
Pittsburgh pitcher Dennis Visco did his part in helping his team beat the Washington Eagles, 7-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Visco got the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 8.1 innings. Visco allowed 3 runs. Pittsburgh, at 19-2, is off to a blistering start.
The Industrials got a big at-bat from right fielder Don Keough. For the game, Keough went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Pittsburgh a 2-1 lead.
"Winning makes the heart grow fonder -- for more winning," said Keough, cracking a smile.
