Burros Reel Off Another Win
Denver Burros starter Mike Gresley hurled his team past the St. Louis Explorers, 3-2. Denver, now 15-8, has played well in the early going.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the fifth. That's when Burros center fielder Guillermo Morales hit a fastball from Jorge Gonzalez for a 2-run single. Just like that, Denver was up, 3-2.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Gresley said.
