Right-hander Ken Brown mesmerized the New York Knickerbockers while leading the Milwaukee Dairymen to a 4-0 victory. The loss lowers the New York record to 14-10.

Milwaukee took a 3-0 lead on Brown's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Jack Forbes in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Milwaukee to the win.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Brown told the Milwaukee Gazette. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."
