Knickerbockers Take Home 4-3 Win Over Milwaukee
|
New York right fielder Bob Underwood made his presence felt in the 4-3 Knickerbockers triumph over the Milwaukee Dairymen. Underwood went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. New York pitcher Brian Williams got the win, upping his record to 2-1. Arnie Keilman got the loss. At 15-8, the Knickerbockers have played well so far.
In the bottom of the fifth, with the game tied, Milwaukee allowed the Knickerbockers to go up, 2-1, on a Milwaukee error.
