The home crowd had a good time watching the Denver Burros and San Diego Captains get after it.

The San Diego Captains converted a terrific effort from starter Dario Fontanez into a win over the Denver Burros at San Diego Sporting Complex. The Captains won the game by a final score of 5-2. The win puts San Diego at 2-1.

Tom Row went 1 for 2 with a walk for San Diego. The 26-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Mike Gresley. It was his 2nd hit of the season.

San Diego manager Joe Mack called it "a darn good win."
