Blockbusters Send Cincinnati Home with 9-5 Loss
Thanks in large part to second baseman Ken Frederick, the Los Angeles Blockbusters beat the Cincinnati Packers, 9-5. Frederick went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Cardell Franklin, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-1. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 12 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 0. The win puts Los Angeles at 11-16.

Andy Covarrubio helped out the Los Angeles cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher went 1-4.
