The Baltimore Lords handed the Montreal Habitants a 6-2 defeat at Seton Hill Stadium. Right Fielder Tom Payton starred for Baltimore. He went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. The Habitants fall to 10-16 and continue their uneven start to the 1976 season.

Tom Adams had a big run-scoring triple for the Lords in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Baltimore leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from 29-year old left-handed pitcher Lawrence Connor and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 5th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lords ahead, 4-2.

Adams said his team "played with determination."
