Despite a great performance by Denver left fielder Leo Sentner, the St. Louis Explorers defeated the Burros by the score of 6-4 at Gates Crescent Park. Sentner was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Glenn Kittle earned the win for St. Louis. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 3-1. St. Louis goes to 17-11.
