Lords Deal Hurons 5-2 Loss
|
The Baltimore Lords defeated the Toronto Hurons by the score of 5-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman James Pendleton. Pendleton went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI for the Lords on the day. The save was credited to Denny Boyd, his 3rd. The Hurons fall to 12-15 and continue their lackluster start in 1975.
With Baltimore leading 3-2 in the top of the eighth, Pendleton hit a 2-run single off Toronto hurler Ben Immel. It was the 26th hit of the season for Pendleton and put his team ahead, 5-2.
"We did a lot of things right," said Pendleton.
