Milwaukee Shuts Out Brooklyn Behind Davalos, 4-0
|
Chris Davalos was dynamite at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium, blowing away the Brooklyn Bluebirds in a shutout victory. The Milwaukee Dairymen starter had everything working as he held the Bluebirds to 5 hits in the 4-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Brooklyn skipper John Meeker. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Davalos finished the game with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk.
For the season, Davalos has compiled a 2-4 record with a 3.89 ERA.
