Wranglers Turn Away Hurons, 5-3
The Dallas Wranglers overcame a pretty good performance by Toronto left fielder Mark Clark, beating the Hurons, 5-3, at Bluff Park. Clark went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Frank Dunn, who led the ABL in saves with 26 last year, nailed down the save. The Hurons drop to 13-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1972 season.

Right Fielder Roger McCoy made an impact for Dallas, when he swatted a 2-run double off Joe Scott in the bottom of the third. For the contest, McCoy went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"Enjoyed this one," McCoy told the Dallas Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
