Toronto and Baltimore duked it out and the Hurons came out victorious.

The Toronto Hurons topped the Baltimore Lords, 8-5, with youngster Dave Browning playing a key role. Browning was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Hurons in the win. The save was credited to Larry Haddock, his 1st.

With Toronto leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Browning hit a curveball from Hector Velazquez for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Hurons ahead, 4-0.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Browning, "one at-bat at a time."

The Lords fall to 10-17.
