Generals Roll to 8-2 Win Over Hawks
|
Atlanta rode a good effort from starter Mark Campbell to beat the Chicago Hawks at Atlantic Station Field. The final score was 8-2. The win gives Atlanta a record of 2-1.
Danny Bleicher had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth for Atlanta. He came through with a 2-run single to put Atlanta in front, 5-2.
"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Campbell told the Atlanta Observer. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
