Brown Shackles San Diego
|
It wasn't easy but Mike Brown made it look that way.
Brown silenced the San Diego Captains, 4-0, in a Milwaukee Dairymen triumph at San Diego Sporting Complex today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Brown said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 3 hits.
"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
In 5 starts this season Brown has fashioned a 2-1 record and a 4.85 ERA.
