Atlanta Stymied by Valenti
|
Dan Valenti was dynamite at Seton Hill Stadium, blowing away the Atlanta Generals in a shutout victory. The Baltimore Lords starter had everything working as he held the Generals to 5 hits in the 1-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Atlanta skipper Philipe Yazzie. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Valenti finished the game with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk.
This year, Valenti has fanned 18 in 42 innings and collected a 3-1 record with a 1.50 ERA.
