Keith Williams, who is tied for 5th in the NBL in wins with 4, had a strong outing for the Denver Burros against the Pittsburgh Industrials at Gates Crescent Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Williams yielded 1 run over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 5, and struck out 2. His record improves to 4-0. Pittsburgh now is 17-14.

There was more than one reason the Burros beat the Industrials, but Williams's big at-bat in the bottom of the fourth was an important factor. He staked his team to a 3-1 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Williams. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
