McStay Now 3-3 After Subduing Emeralds
|
Right-hander Rick McStay mesmerized the Seattle Emeralds while leading the Houston Drillers to a 5-0 victory. Houston has a record of 15-16.
McStay was the winner. He's now 3-3, after putting the Seattle offense in a vise grip. Over 8.2 innings, he gave up no runs on 1 hit, while racking up 7 Ks.
"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said McStay.
